What We Handle

North Florida’s Most Common Household Pests

Different pests, different treatments. Here’s what we actually see on service calls across St. Johns and Flagler Counties — and how we handle each one.

Palmetto Bugs (American Roaches)

The big brown roaches that scatter when you flip a garage light on. They peak September through November when humidity is highest, and they don’t need a “dirty” house — they follow moisture and warm cracks. We treat the entry points with residual perimeter and label-safe interior gel bait.

German Roaches

The small, fast tan-colored roaches in kitchens and bathrooms. These are the ones you can’t ignore — they reproduce fast and infest appliances. Treatment is a full IGR (insect growth regulator) plus gel bait cycle over 4–6 weeks. Guaranteed elimination or we come back.

Ghost Ants, Fire Ants & Carpenter Ants

Different ants, different treatments. Ghost ants in kitchens = bait stations. Fire ants in yards = broadcast granular. Carpenter ants in wall voids = injectable dust into the galleries. We identify first, treat second — never a one-size-fits-all spray.

Wolf Spiders, Widows & Recluses

Wolf spiders are harmless but startling. Southern black widows are real in Florida (garage corners, under decks, in landscape rock). Brown recluses are rare in North FL but not impossible. We do targeted interior + garage/shed treatment and web removal.

Roof Rats & Norway Rats

Roof rats are the coastal FL default — they enter attics through soffit gaps and roof-line junctions. We do interior + exterior bait stations, seal entry points with steel mesh, and remove any dead rodents from wall voids. Snap traps only if you specifically request them.

Fleas, Ticks & Silverfish

Flea and tick treatment for yards with pets (pre and post-adult stages via IGR + adulticide). Silverfish in bathrooms and closets = residual barrier plus moisture-source identification. We fix the cause, not just the symptom.

Our Process

Our Residential Pest Control Process

Same process every time — because it’s Brandon doing the work, not a rotating tech.

1

Free Inspection by the Owner

Brandon shows up personally — no call-center dispatcher, no rotating techs. Walks the interior, exterior, garage, and attic entry points. Identifies what’s active vs. what’s just leftover evidence. Gives you the diagnosis and options on the spot.

2

Custom Treatment Plan

A palmetto bug problem gets a different plan than an ant problem. Small home with pets ≠ large home with a shed and detached garage. Your plan is your plan — priced accordingly. No cookie-cutter packages, no hidden fees.

3

Interior + Exterior Application

Targeted interior (kitchen, bathroom, garage entry points, closets) plus full-perimeter exterior barrier. Products selected for the specific pest, applied at label rate, dry-time under one hour. Safe for kids and pets once dry.

4

Ongoing Prevention

Most homes do best on quarterly (every 90 days). Heavy infestations start monthly for the first 3–6 months, then step down. You can cancel any time — no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.

Pest Control Across St. Johns & Flagler Counties

St. Augustine

Historic Downtown · Anastasia Island · Vilano · St. Augustine Shores

Coastal humidity means palmetto bugs everywhere — plus silverfish in older bathrooms and heavy roof-rat pressure in beach homes. Historic downtown wood attracts termites and carpenter ants.

Palm Coast

R-Sections · Grand Haven · Bunnell · Flagler Beach

Humid canal-front homes = mosquito and roach pressure. Newer construction along US-1 = ants entering through slab expansion joints. Snowbird season brings fresh pest waves each spring.

St. Johns County

Nocatee · World Golf Village · Ponte Vedra · Silverleaf

New-build homes with well-sealed envelopes = fewer roaches, but heavy ghost ant pressure through utility penetrations. Master-planned communities near preserves see rodents in attics.

Pest Control FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I schedule pest control in Florida?+

Most homes stay pest-free on a quarterly (every 90 days) plan. If you have an active infestation, we start monthly and step down after 3–6 months. Florida’s climate never really shuts pests off, so a total pause is rarely the right call.

What’s included in a $65 starting service?+

Full-perimeter exterior barrier plus interior spot treatment of high-risk areas (kitchen, bathroom, garage entry, closets). Priced for standard homes under 2,000 sq ft — larger homes or active infestations scale up. Every quote is written and honest.

Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?+

Yes. We use EPA-registered products at label rate, applied by a licensed operator. Interior applications dry within 60 minutes and are safe to walk on. Tell Brandon during the inspection if you have specific sensitivities and he’ll adjust product class.

What if pests come back between visits?+

Free re-treatment. We’re not going to tell you to wait until your next scheduled visit — we come back and re-treat at no charge. That’s the whole point of a recurring plan.

Do I need to leave the house during treatment?+

No. Interior spot treatment is safe once dry (about an hour). You do not need to vacate. For heavier applications like whole-home termite tenting, we give you clear instructions in advance.

How much does pest control cost in St. Augustine and Palm Coast?+

Recurring quarterly starts at $65 per visit. Monthly for active infestations runs $95–$135. One-time treatments $180–$425. Every quote is free and given in writing — no hidden fees.

Do you handle bed bugs?+

Yes — bed bug treatment is a specialized process (heat + chemical). Priced separately, not covered under standard recurring pest control. We do inspection first to confirm the diagnosis.

Do you work with HOAs or property managers?+

Yes. We service HOA properties in Nocatee, Palm Coast R-sections, and Grand Haven regularly. Volume pricing available for multi-unit accounts and property-management portfolios.

Do you offer organic or reduced-risk product options?+

Yes. If you’re pregnant, have infants, immunocompromised residents, or reactive pets, tell Brandon during the inspection and we’ll switch to a reduced-risk product class — botanical actives, boric acid formulations, and IGR-based gel baits. Effective, just slower kill curve.

Do you spot-treat wasps, hornets, or bee removal?+

Yes for wasps and hornets — same-day removal in most cases. For honey bees, we do not exterminate; we coordinate with a local beekeeper for humane relocation. Ground nest and eave nest treatments priced per visit.
